从1999 年开始共发表学术专著1部（第二作者），学术论文70多篇（章）。长期坚持科普宣传，在国内外科普杂志发表30多篇文章，参与创作《史前生物历程》、《热河生物群》、《The Jehol Biota: the Emergence of Feathered Dinosaurs, Beaked Birds and Flowering Plants》；翻译BBC的《与恐龙同行》；为《九龙之死》作科学顾问；参与“科学队长”音频节目《生命是怎样出现的》。
